TAFT in English

Vantaan TAFT, established in 1981, is one of the oldest American Football clubs in Finland. Today TAFT offers football experiences starting from F-juniors (8-10 year olds) all the way till mens first team that plays in the Maple League -the highest level of football in Finland.

TAFT's flagship, mens team, ended the season 2011 with a victory. TAFT won the 1st division (Spaghetti bowl) championship and decided to apply for a Maple League license. The license was issued to TAFT in January and now Maple League football will return to Vantaa after 14 years break. Last time TAFT played in the Maple League was in 1998. Season 2011 was the 3rd  championship year in a row for TAFT that holds an impressive winning record from the last 3 years: 28-2.

Our juniorteams are growing and improving.  TAFT has the largest junior organization in Finland. To be able to meet the crowing demand amongst young players we are starting 2 new juniorteams: C-juniors (15-17 year olds) and A-juniors (18-21 year olds). New players are welcome!

In TAFT we aim to offer quality experiences for all our players and fans. We want to provide the best possible surroundings and firm support from the TAFT organization. TAFT is a tight family where everyone can feel welcome.

Over 30 years of football in Vantaa. It's been a long and colorful ride with hundreds and hundreds of players who have woren the blue and white. The brightest moments in TAFT history were the Eurobowl championship in 1985 and Maple League championship in 1986. TAFT has always been very successful in junior leagues and numerous Championships and other medals have been given to TAFT Juniors over the years.

In 2012 TAFT aims to establish its place in the Maple League. We welcome everyone to the ISS Stadium to cheer TAFT for victories! Go Blue Go White - Go Blue and White!
