We are now looking for a

TEAM MANAGER (TRAINEE/INTERSHIP)

A Taft Team Manager is working with the entire Taft organization and ensures that the vast network that is required to run the operation is working well together. The work involves working as intermediary between the board, coaches and players and working with marketing to give the team a good public image. You would generally work from an home office, though some travelling is included. You would work as sports marketer in efforts to bring in corporate sponsors and endorsements. At times, you would be a spokesperson for the team and therefore handle media relations and/or organize promotional events for the organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Event Management and Event Coordination

• Communications and information processing between the SAJL (the American football federation of Finland) and the board, coaches and players.

SKILLS REQUIRED:  

• A strong sense of self-motivation

• A good business sense  

• Excellent presentation skills in front of an audience

• Solid budgeting and organisational skills

• Fluent Finnish, and ability to work also in English

• Outgoing and social personality

• Understanding of American football is not a must but a big plus
