Titans (U17) lost to Helsinki Wolverines

On a stormy (both rain and hail) day, the Taft Titans could never get their game going and lost to the Helsinki Wolverines 28-14. The Wolverines run-oriented offense was much better suited for the weather and the Titans had difficulty tackling the excellent running backs of the Wolverines.

There were few bright spots for Taft but one was the emergence of rookie #22 Leevi Karjalainen at running back. The TAFT coaches are disappointed in the way the game went and will get back to work immediately as the Titans host the Porvoo Butchers this Saturday (16.7) at 17:00.
